The ARC of LaGrange County serves the disabled in our community. Their office and some of their facilities are located South of Howe, Indiana.
They offer many services to our disabled friends and family. Too many to try to start a list here.
One of the things they do find meaningful employment in the community. If you are an employer and you are in need of a dedicated and loyal employee they can help you while you help others.
Anther one of the things they do is the photo club. Which is mainly staffed by volunteers. The volunteers are currently older people with decades of experience in photography.
The club is divided into groups and each week one of the groups meets with the volunteers. Usually in a setting where they can capture images that could be sold.
Last fall the group had an exhibition and sales opportunity at Greencroft Middlebury's Community Center. It was well attended and the ARC photographers were thrilled to have people come and see their work.
Images can be purchased on line at www.arclag.art.
Below are some images of some of the groups, some of the individuals and a few of their pictures.
