The windmill at Bonneyville Mills, March 2026.
The quilt barn and the entire windmill, March 2026
Bonneyvill Mills is in Northern Indiana. If you are visiting Shipehwana, Middlebury or Elkhart it is a short drive to a nice place to visit.
Outside the mill in summer.
Winter at the mill.
In the later parts of summer there is a Dahlia Garden that is wonderful. This time of year there is a lot of water coming over the waterfalls and that is always fun to see and to photograph.
There are lots of trails to walk. The most popular ones are along the river.
You should check the times of operation because they have park volunteers and rangers in the mill that can give you the history of the place and it is a great place to just "look around". My wife goes there and buys her corn meal. So there are milled grains for sale.
In the summer there are family reunions and picnics in the park and under the shelters.
You should go if you can!
Amish girls cross the old road bed. Now it is a waterfall in Spring.
