I take pictures for the Blue Gate Performing Arts Center of concerts. I've come to like doing it. And I've learned doing "on the job" self-training. I say that because concert pictures are taken in dark concert halls and the lighting is something you have to learn how to control in you camera settings.
But I digress, even before getting started.

Last night was an experience because it was a young couple who are or were Amish. And another artists Conrad Fisher who was Amish as a child. The place was packed. And the crowd was predictably Conservative Mennonite, Mennonite and Amish.
There were lots of bicycles outside. A fact brought to my attention by the managment of the Blue Gate. And there were more than the usual number of "Amish taxis" ie vans. I only saw one buggy while I was walking into the venue.
So everyone was predictably very nice, polite, kind and it was a very pleasant evening.
